Welcome to Swannanoa.net, the community website for Swannanoa, North Canterbury, New Zealand.

Time at last for an update. When I set out I thought I'd make this website a kind of local newspaper, but that quickly became unworkable because of the amount of time and effort required. Therfore this site is instead a kind of on-line history book, collecting together items of interest to those who live in or around Swannanoa.

New content has thus been added that adds more historical information, and the current events details have now been removed (well they weren't current anyway!).
